Yellow Perch Information
The best time to come is somewhat dependent on the water temperature, but here’s a general guideline:
July 15th to October 31st, early and late in that range are best.
Limit is 30/person
Perch range in size, there will be many 8 inch, but also plenty of 10 to 13 inch fish are caught most days. Besides July-Oct, the first two weeks of May can also be productive. When the perch fishing is at its best, you can catch them about as fast as you can go. It’s a great time for kids and families, or anyone that just wants to put some “Lake Erie Gold” in the freezer for Winter.
